3 Questions to Ask a Real Estate Agent

Some people hire their weird cousin's ex-wife's granddaughter to sell their home because hey, she's licensed. In fact, according to the North Carolina Real Estate Commission, there are approximately 82,970 active brokers in the state...and we. are. not. the. same.

When choosing a REALTOR to represent you, make sure to dig into their experience and make sure they are a fit for YOUR needs, goals, and preferences. Today I'm sharing three helpful questions to ask, because they help you determine:

➡️ Who has the insight and experience to close your deal in the most effective and streamlined way, one that also nets you the most money.
➡️ Who is a master negotiator? You want someone who can see the obstacles, and use their negotiation skills to overcome those, while also meeting your goals in the best way possible.
➡️ Who communicates the way you like to communicate? If you’d rather poke your own eyeball out than answer a phone call, you probably want to seek out an agent who can handle the majority of communications via text. If you prefer a voice-to-voice or face-to-face conversation, you probably don’t want the agent who communicates via emojis DMs, and morse code.
